Not just that, there ARE lots of live maggots inside the cheese. And they jump. So when you eat it, it's advised to hold one hand over it to keep them from, say, getting in your eyes. That, or put the cheese in a plastic bag, seal it, and wait for the maggots to asphyxiate.
