actually, Nintendo made poison a post-op in america. in japan Poison is a cross dresser.
Wrong, Nintendo didn't do anything of the sort. If you'll recall, the SNES version contains obviously male replacements for Poison and Roxy.
Basically, when Capcom tried to sell their US branch on the idea of marketing the game to arcades, the guys at Capcom USA were like, "Whoa. Wait. There's women in this game? That you have to beat up? We can't sell this, the feminists will have our balls for fuzzy dice!" So Capcom JP shot back (jokingly), "Oh, that's OK. There's no actual women in this game. Those are post-op transsexuals."
And Capcom USA bought it hook, line, and sinker.
Later on, to cover over the way they pulled the wool over Capcom USA's eyes, Capcom JP actually retconned it so that Poison is, in fact, a post-op tranny (whether or not he/she still has the dick is up for debate). The other female Mad Gear, Roxy, is stated as having been born female, though.
SO, bottom line - Poison is a transsexual in canon.

I think you need to take a step back for a minute.
"Up for debate," meaning "up for debate in the eyes of fan-artists and doujinshi creators." Capcom is under no such illusions; they know Poison had the dick removed.
And please stop trying to be abrasive. You're making an ass of yourself.

It is a parody of a poem by Aida Mitsuwo, Japanese poet. He passed away in 1991.
His poetry took the form of messages to people who are frustrated or faced with troubles. In those poems, the concept of "because you are human, it's okay for you to fail, nobody expects you to be perfect" is strongly incorporated. At the end of his poems, written on autograph board, he would always sign his name by hand, "Mitsuwo".
