Ex-Ranza (エクスランザー), released outside Japan as Ranger X, is a science fiction and mecha action side scrolling run and gun "shoot 'em up" video game for the Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive.
The game was developed by GAU Entertainment and published by Sega. It was released worldwide in 1993.
This title is notable because its graphics are so colorful and detailed some experts claim it is the only game that has broken through the Mega Drive hardware's colour limitations.
