From the thumb I thought there was a white hand punching her in the gut.

Local miko too poor to afford footwear, donate immediately!

She was too poor for shoes back then. Got enough money after solving 2 incidents, and it's one shoe per incident.

Is there a name for this specific style of comic? I mean, with a single larger picture on the left and smaller ones on the right (or vice-versa)?

It's funny how some people in the Pokémon world can have psychic powers like that as if it was an ordinary ability. If it was here they'd be millionaires.

Eh, I wasn't talking about her species, I was talking about her power.

Because from I could discern, she would invite people to Geidontei and take them on a journey they'll never remember.

And you said walrus, not whale. Not only I misread your post but also misinterpreted it. orz

Heh. Miyoi is basically a Touhouified Ambien Walrus.

I doubt she is an actual whale, just wears a whale hat to play her role as Geidontei's poster girl.

She is possibly another oni, maybe even the 4th mountain deva.

Pixiv tags this with 女勇者 (female hero), so that's not a male Loto.

Also, that hooded guy in the portrait is Loto's dad (Ortega). That's how his sprite appears in the original Famicom version of the game. Created a tag for him and removed character_request.

I just realized one thing. Since haniwas are considered dolls, does that mean Alice could manipulate Mayumi?

If so, that could be a threat for Keiki...

So it seems like Saki really has a ponytail, even in her official art. I didn't notice it at first and thought it was just short hair (like Aya's).

That's pretty nice since it makes her stand out more. Ponytails are kinda rare in Touhous, and the only ones that come to mind are Futo and Yorihime (but I may be forgetting others).
