Given that Namekians are biologically female by standard definitions (they just socially present as male), that would make the Bowsette thing make significantly more sense - it's a species change, not a gender change, and with the commonality of powerups EVERYBODY there is used to species changes

Although you'd think losing the ability to present as male would be more offputting still

they need a complete revamp, like have both of them present at the same time. just look at the twins and Reine's. actually they could do it to Valkyries too

Valkyrie is a special case, in that each Ascension is basically Ortlinde, Hild, and Thrud reaching their maximum Experience Limit, and being replaced by the next in turn, as Odin made them to have a finite limit
