I'm looking for a tag that would best describe when an artist's picture inspires others to draw a character in that same outfit.

"borrowed_outfit" or "borrowed_design" maybe?

"borrowed" sounds fine to me since that lines up well with the existing borrowed_character tag. I would probably think of "costume" on the second part since that usage seems to be dominant (there is some inconsistency, but we have aliases like alternate_outfit -> alternate_costume)
