Since "goo girl" is implicated to the "monster girl" tag, it should be reasonable to implicate "goo guy" as a part of the "monster boy" tag.

Shouldn't goo guy be "goo boy" then?

When searching for a tag like that, "goo guy" was the one that was used the most. I assume the person who made the tag called it this for alliteration purposes, but I can see what you're saying.
