Btw. there is also the yugake. Since single_glove wouldn't be good as an implication with this one, shouldn't it at least imply partly_fingerless_gloves?

That's a unique case. The gloves tag wouldn't apply as that implies that the character is wearing a complete pair, whereas someone wearing a yugake isn't. However, at the same time, that type of glove is also partly fingerless. Not sure what to think of it.

Well, given the tag structure, glove (-> singular) is aliased to the plural. If I take now that a step further, it seems quite obvious to let this implicate partly fingerless gloves or with other word: The plural/singular problem can step back.

The asymmetrical_clothes tag is "When a character's overall clothing significantly differs from one side of the body to the other". As gloves can be a relatively small part of the outfit, there will be cases where asymmetrical gloves alone wouldn't be enough to warrant the asymmetrical_clothes tag.
