[bulk] Tag alias: holding_hand -> holding_hands

Posted under Tags

Here's how I use it. Holding hands is where both characters are actively holding each other's hands. This is usually between families, in ceremonies, and between lovers. Holding hand is where only one character between two is actively holding the other's hand. Examples of this include a person pulling someone from a ditch by grabbing their hand, holding someone's hand for a hand kiss, or holding the hand of a very sick or dead person.

In the future please do not be hasty in nuking a tag (even more so with the language barrier for you), especially while the tag is under discussion. If the alias had gone through, the tag would have naturally been purged from those images, so it was completely unnecessary for you to manually nuke the tag.

It can also be sometimes annoying to undo if a user frequently makes tag changes on posts and results in having to sift through the user's post change history to find where they made the changes.

When it got rejected, then the tag didn't have any "right to exist . And I didn't read his answer then and he didn't make the request when I started. A bit unfair to say that now, when you don't know the circumstances.
And the work here seems always a bit slow, considerung how the male swimwear/swimsuit search also existed although the "consencus" was reached several weeks before.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but you purged the tag shortly after you responded on this thread (about 13 hours ago) and after the initial alias was initially rejected. There is nothing here that indicates approval for nuking the tag or that it "didn't have any right to exist". All of that was your own assumption.

If an alias is rejected it's the admin who rejected it saying that the precedent should not be removed. It is literally the opposite of "doesn't have a right to exist." An alias removes the former tag and replaces it with the latter. At the minimum it means the tag needs to be manually reviewed and fixed where necessary after discussion over where it is appropriate.

After a little conversation with Renim, I think that is pretty much impossible to say (I don't know if that is Renim's conclusion, too^^) since albert didn't gave any reason (didn't wanted albert the alias because he thought it is an non-existing expression in English or is there actually a difference?)

That said, I think tapnek's approach here is the best one. This something like when another person guides another person's hand like in post #2315284

Didn't know holding_hand is a thing. I always throw holding_hands in whenever two (or more) characters holding their hands, didn't pay attention if it's mutual or not :3

Before using this tag together with holding hands , I want to know which tag should be used when:

The second and third ones would make good cases for the holding hand tag. The fourth one's tricky though and the first one doesn't count since it looks like they're both holding each other's hands with equal effort.
