Kinchaku is Japanese' traditional pouch for festival.

The current bulk of pouch posts are militaristic belt-fastened button pouches, if that's any consideration.

I thought this things are bags....??
So what exactly is then a bag and a pouch?

I see bag as something like shopping or garbage bags. Pouch I think of a small messenger bag of sorts.

So, should it be implied to bag instead, or pouch be clarified to include small soft bags?

Maybe the latter. AFAIK, pouch is used to describe a small bag in real life. Even Google agrees with me.

We tag those belt pouch, don't we? I'm alright with a broad definition of pouch since the more specific tag exists as well. Though the current definition ("A small or medium size container for holding or carrying things") is perhaps a bit too broad, as it could be interpreted to include boxes, wallets, jars, etc.
