I'd like for us to take a second look at this implication since it appears to be at odds with the definition of adjusting hair. Sure, tying hair can be as simple as slipping a hair tie or scrunchie over it, which is definitely within the scope of "characters casually fixing their hairstyle with their hands". But it can also be an elaborate activity involving ribbons and bows, and one person may be having their hair tied by another (e.g. post #1301340). This is hairdressing, not adjusting hair. In this context, the implication doesn't make much sense.
It was suggested in topic #12671 that this implication be undone but that suggestion was overlooked due to not being the primary subject of the thread. Perhaps it's time to reconsider?
