I was surprised this implication didn't exist and couldn't find any previous discussion about it, I don't see any reason for it not to work.

Is there a possibility to list all *_ears and *_tail tags that are missing an implication?
I think it's worth taking a look at those and create a big bulk of implications.

Raw list of *_ears and *_tail tags with at least 50 posts that don't imply animal ears or tail. Needs manual review, not all need implications.

I thought dragons counted as animal, or are they monsters instead?

Removed the hair ears part though

-1 to split tail, ghost tail and fake tail (should be mutually exclusive IMO).
Uncertain about fish, penguin, snake and scorpion.
Consider adding tail-tip fire.

For the same reason, fake tail should imply tail because otherwise we'll have half of the pics in fake tail having tail by implication and the other half being in tag limbo until someone recognizes the kind of animal the tail is supposed to be of.

Right, I forgot ghost tail doesn't refer to an actual tail and confused split tail for forked tail, kept the fake tail though.

Forked tail already implies tail though and has done so since topic #11020 3 years ago.

See the tail wiki that states the following:

In general, don't tag this on an animal unless there's something special or noteworthy about the the tail...

One could argue that a split tail is noteworthy, but then some nekomata are cats and have split_tails, so I think it's better to have that seperated again.
