Anyway, I wanted to know if you guys had a specific name for the badges that had pictures on them post #409576

there is the tag badge but I don't know what goes under that, is it ambiguous?

I would have said button or pin but both of them are different things currently. Button is for clothing fastners as far as I looked and pin for an artist. Badge seems right but it's rather non-intuitive, at least for me.

There is the term Button-pin. Unless I keep using badges.
There are some pics that call them buttons though.

pinback_button, maybe since that's what wikipedia talks about in this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campaign_button

It does make sense, makes me think of the purpose instantly.
Though I never heard of that specific term.

anyone got more suggestions for button-pins when it comes to fashion?

I just googled around but it seems button_pin, button_badge, or pinback_button would all suffice, since those brings up fairly relevant sites, image, and ebay results.

If no one minds, I will tag fashion buttons or buttons with graphics as button_badge to keep it consistent with the tag badge.

It is a small tag, shouldn't be too much trouble.
