Actually, I think it would be better to not alias anything and mark leg and legs as do-not-use and leg_focus must be used explicitly. That will make it easier to keep mistagging at bay because builders/unlimited uploaders will quickly learn to use leg_focus instead and anything tagged leg/legs by newcomers can be fixed quickly.

Edit: Previous discussion: topic #14889. I never got around to clean all those tags to be able to go ahead with the renames.

I'm more skeptical these days of renaming body part tags to <body_part>_focus. It would create a lot of awkward-sounding tag names and I don't see much evidence it improves tagger behavior.

It's also not entirely consistent with existing *_focus tags. We didn't replace ass with ass focus, instead we have ass focus as a more focused subset of ass. Likewise, pov feet is a more focused subset of feet, not a replacement for it (and this is one that probably should be renamed to foot focus).

At the very least, I'd like to see legs either cleaned up first, or for someone to populate leg focus to show how the tag should be used. Frankly I think starting a new tag for leg focus (which is basically what we did with ass focus) would be easier than trying to reshape legs into leg focus.

Ass and ass_focus work because the former is for any presence of an ass, and the latter is for when an ass is the clear subject of the image. One is broad, the other is narrow.

Legs is already defined for leg focused images: "When leg(s) are one of the focus of the image." It would need to either be redefined to make it broadly apply to all presence of legs the same way ass and breasts are defined, or it needs to be aliased/renamed to leg_focus.

pov_feet really should mean the feet of the pov character, such as post #2928004. This makes it consistent with pov_hands, female_pov, etc.

Unfortunately it's a similar case to pov ass, which was a hard enough job to alias to ass focus years ago. As evazion said the vast majority of the pics should be moved to foot focus.
