post #3147513 is marked as original, however since it portrays a character that is a vtuber (https://www.twitch.tv/lunpeko) I think it'd be wise to change it and similar posts featuring this character to have at least the following:

- character's name
- tag borrowed_character (not sure if this applies when it's a commission?)
- and update the copyright to reflect the vtuber. She is independent afaik, so would the copyright be still original or just the same as the character's name?

Or am I missing something and no changes should be made?

This is an older design of the character, the creator has since to my knowledge starting doing their own graphic design for the vtuber.

I wouldn't say borrowed_character fits, since it's a commission.

I'm unsure if there's a copyright tag for independent vtubers, but there's the virtual_youtuber tag, so original is probably fine.

Hmm, so people who want to see all the pics for one specific vtuber are out of luck? Definitely waiting for more input on this, because that'd be a policy (if it is one) that ignores KEY meta data. :/

Ah sorry, forgot to explain that.
Yeah, if a character has a name it needs to be tagged. If you want to add it yourself (recommended, in case other people don't see your comments/forum posts) and the tag hasn't been created yet, add char: in front of the character tag. If you want more delucidations on that, i'd suggest to check howto:tag.

If this looks good to you I'll make wiki page entries for the channel and character as well as filling in the info for the other relevant pics. Maybe even group the pics since they are one batch of commissions (I would assume) for the same reason and commissioner?

The artist made several posts' art that aren't siblings on danbooru for the vtuber's commission. Guess one could group them that way?

The wiki entries are good. If you want you can add what she usually wears on her character tag wiki, so it makes tagging easier for people who upload her.

I think it's unneeded, one can just search luna_(lunpeko_channel) + commission to find them (unless someone unrelated commissioned another artist to draw the character, but it's probably a small number).

The parent/sibiling system should only be used for similar images/variants of an image , an image inspired/related to another (eg. post #3560877) or for short multi-page comics. While there are exceptions, i don't think it should be used for batch commissions.

Thanks a lot! Since I also run a local instance of danbooru I'm always interested in understanding the tagging guidelines better. I often find that the thought process behind some tag names is pretty consistent and very logical, so understanding it helps me not just on here, but also in properly getting order into my personal local collection of art. :)
