Tool or Tools
I am unsure and so is jxh2154. So what should happen with it?
Would "tool(s)" be acceptable or unacceptable here?

Should the tag be more specific to what is seen? "hand_tool" and "power_tool". Assuming that there would be more than one object in the picture, then add an "S".

I'm personally in support of tools, as they're generally always depicted in a set of either the same type of tool or a assortment of other tools. Though I wouldn't particularly care if tool is the one used instead.

As for specifics, I think tool/s would work fine to cover them all. If you need a specific sub-tag then I'd say only power_tool would likely be needed if we really needed a specific tag. In that case though I'd think power_tool would be the tag I'd support, since they're more likely to be depicted individually, unlike regular tools.

I'd probably just tag things like post #122036 with screwdriver instead of tool, and if there was a whole bunch of tools then I'd use tools.

The only reason I'd say to go for tool over tools would be if we want to use it as a group tag with a bunch of implications à la instrument. Otherwise, yeah, tools is the way to go, since any single tool should have a more specific tag.
