Alias al bhed eyes -> spiral eyes

Reason: The latter is more descriptive and clearer on what the tag is supposed to refer to. I have no knowledge of Final Fantasy so finding what tag I was supposed to use was more difficult than it needed to be.

I'd like it, unless someone associates it with tengen toppa gurren-lagann, then perhaps spiraling eyes / swirling eyes would be a second suggestion. I feel the same about pac-man eyes, as the art term for it is pie-cut eyes.

As long as people don't confuse it for @_@, whatever.

spiral eyes just doesn't convey that it has to be a natural trait of the eye, not a temporary instance. al bhed eyes does this very effectively. Aliasing in the other direction to make it easier to find might be acceptable though.

Actually I lean more towards spiral eyes.

My problem with Al Bhed Eyes is that it's not really a neutral tag. To find it initially, you have to know the tag's origin which is Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2.

Yeah, I think tags generally shouldn't be named after a series' jargon unless it is specific to pictures referencing that series; e.g. grief_seed, spiral_power, rough_time_school, etc.

Count me (if I count...) as another "Either way." spiral_eyes is more generally intuitive, and any confusion about its use can be handled (...hopefully) by the wiki.

I could go for spiral_eyes as well. I only knew about al_bhed_eyes from seeing a post that was tagged with it. I would have had no idea what to look for otherwise.

All it takes is some initial clean-up, at most, and a proper wiki. @_@ is pretty well clear that its temporary and al bhed eyes is just as likely to get confused, and more likely to be ignored, than spiral eyes.

Why do we need to make them separate tags anyway? If a character usually doesn't have +_+ eyes but is shown "temporarily" with them in something like post #869516, we still tag it +_+.

I think it's because the al_bhed_eyes just have it as an effect of the irises, but the @_@ cases have swirls replacing most, if not all, of the eyes.

But then what about pupils/irises that are just shaped like +_+? Can't say I'm afwully familiar with that tag's entries, and I can't think of anyone besides Nia Teppelin whose are shaped that way as a standard.

Offhand, the only other character I know that has eyes like +_+ is Melona.

I don't quite get the need for al_bhed_eyes but how about we just implicate it to spiral instead of alias it, for those who want is separate?

So both tags need to be cleared up or reversed?
Or just mash them together and hope the image tagging makes sense.
