inverted_hold? Nah. But, yeah, +1 to a tag, old or new.

reverse_grip is the most intuitive and easiest to remember. TV Tropes even lists their article as "Reverse Grip."

I would use parenthesis rather than colons, which are usually reserved for subtitles. So it would be reverse_grip_(edge_out) and reverse_grip_(edge_in).

i think plain reverse_grip (on post #60123) works just fine. analogous to crossed_legs with crossed_legs_(standing) and crossed_legs_(lying).

If someone is holding a certain double-edge weapon with hilt, say like stiletto (kinda slender dagger), in reverse grip manner, can you point which direction the edge is facing?

My point is, just leave the reverse grip tag as it is for now.

This also applies to any melee weapon (you know, for the rule of cool) as long as it has hilt and blade at one end.
