The pastel tag is shown correctly as a copyright tag, if you search for the tag under the Tags list search as well as on the tags list on the left of the Post Search results.

However, when looking at the images themselves, it is shown as an artist tag and I was unable to fix it.

EDIT: Never mind. Was able to fix it by changing it from an artist tag to a character tag, and then to a copyright tag.

For some reason though, I wasn't initially able to change it directly from artist to copyright tag.

As a general adjective / color, it would probably be best to move this to a qualified tag for the game, lest it accidentally become polluted with people using it in the same way as sepia to describe an unrelated image.

That's a good idea. Would probably be best to be a tag move and not an alias.

Any idea what a good qualifier would be? Perhaps pastel_(game)?

pastel_(game) sounds good to me as well

There's also another game with the pastel name too though, but it's tagged as pastel chime & pastel chime continue

Maybe something like pastel_(siesta), from the wiki page

After looking it up, pastel_chime and pastel_chime_continue are part of the same series by Alice Soft, while pastel is totally different and by Siesta.

I think pastel_(siesta) is a much better qualifier since it's more specific than just *_(game) and at the same time establishes it is not the same game as the ones by Alice Soft.

Go with pastel_(siesta).
