Farewell, deleted art... you now seem to be truly deleted. I shall miss you.

I can still see (freshly) deleted art under status:deleted

I can't. Maybe I'm misinterpreting it, but after a quick glance on source it seems that "less than privileged = no more status:deleted for you". This is sad.

limit on favorites

Favorites have been acknowledged over time to be one of the biggest sources of issues of the site, and when you think of the number of users who literally have tens of thousands of favorites, it'd be surprising if the two weren't related. It's unreasonable for a user to use his favorites as a mini booru. Personally I've always seen this as a form of abuse.

Correction:
I can see 20 images under status:deleted or a "status:deleted + user:X" query, but that's it.

Additionally, running a query for user:kikimaru also only returns one page.

I think it's a temporary thing since my uploads are apparently capped at 20, too (which wouldn't make sense with the formula.

Might be a pre-Contributor thing since I can run a query for user:saizo0070 and see up to page 450 (though obviously it goes past that).

More things:

Tag searches sorted by count are now sorted by ascending order instead of descending. This is not helpful when you're trying to find the right tag to use.

Rating lock is now gone. It was helpful in stopping ignorant users and vandals from persistently changing ratings.

FWIW, the locks are still there (I can see them), so they likely have been limited in scope. Which is a problem, Contrib+ definitely should be able to use them.

What is gone, however, is the confirmation question when clicking Approve post. It's important and prevents annoying misclicks. Not to mention that it basically says [Approve hide from mod queue] in one run-on line now, with no separation between the two.

You can partially evade the deleted post limit by either using id:x..y , or adding &limit=x to the url. (substitute x and y appropriately)

Tons of metatag queries don't return results with pagination now, with seemingly no consistent indicator of which ones will and won't. I thought it was effecting all user: searches for people whose accounts were at the builder level, but user:jjj14 works perfectly fine.

status:pending and status:deleted searches never seem to have pagination, and width: and height: seem to have and not have it entirely randomly based on what sizes are in your search.

Fixed. it's actually version 0.4.0

I dunno. It's still not working for me. And I tried with both Pixiv and Seiga.

I meant "fixed my post cause I couldn't edit it". The actual uploading problem is not fixed yet. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Tried to upload from Pixiv via Danbooru Uploader (right click image-> upload to danbooru). Did not work. (Failboorus)

http://pianosite.net/danbooruup/

Upload normally, editting tags without aid of addon => works.

Fixed. it's actually version 0.4.0

The uploader's not working for me in Firefox since the upgrade. I've changed to version 0.4.0 but I'm getting the generic "Something broke" in the applet bar at the top. I have the error console open but nothing registers.

When I try to search for the artist, the uploader tells me "Artist search failed", and the error console shows a syntax error:

Timestamp: 2/18/2013 10:54:06 PM
Error: syntax error
Source File: http://danbooru.me/artists?page=
Line: 1, Column: 1
Source Code:
<!doctype html>

(it has an arrow pointing at the "!" in <!doctype html>)

I tried using the uploader in Chrome, but instead of the upload pop-up, I get forwarded to the upload page.

Pretty much. I prefer an updated bookmarklet though since I use it to find artists as well.

- Do regular members have a limit on favorites now? Are you sure it's not a bug or something?

- You have 925 pages of favorites that I can browse. Are you saying that that's only 40% of what you had before and the others were deleted?

- Upgrading to privileged is $20, not $40 (unless it was changed).

- It's true that the site suffers from many bugs currently, but they'll probably be mostly fixed a week from now.

And getting angry isn't going to solve anything.

To answer your question's Toks, yes limits apply to all of those members in thier membership level, Basic limit is 2,000 favorites, Gold limit is 5,000 and cost's $20 dollars to upgrade to, and now there's Platinum which has no limit on favorites but cost's $40 dollars to upgrade to.
Four days ago I had 2000+ pages of favorites and now I only have 925 pages as you have seen.
Now their are three membership levels Basic, Gold, and Platinum.
There are bugs and you are right most of them may be fixed soon, but I'm talking about the site's dynamic's and such have changed and will hopefully be fixed.
I never got angry I was just voiceing my opinions from my point of view.

Not sure if others might have brought this up, but I've noted some other things while moderating. While I enjoy the fact that when you hide an image regardless of if you opened it from the mod queue or not, it now registers it (instead of it only being registered when in the queue or having opened the image from the queue). One concern about this though is if you hide an image now from the mod queue, there is no way to go back and approve it except to dig it up in the view hidden posts section now. It would be nice if instead of completely removing the option to approve/hide after you've hidden it the first time on the post, it would be better to indicate that you've already hidden it before and still give the option to approve it. *edit* Had forgotten that there was still that approve button right below the "find similar".. so I guess this isn't really an issue, though I don't really care for how closely placed these two are, as I regularly use find similar to do a quick check for duplication. So the close proximity would make me potentially prone on accidentally approving an image. */edit*

Another thing is if an image is flagged for deletion now, there is nothing really in the mod queue that stands out that would inform you that the image is flagged for deletion as opposed to a new uploaded image pending approval.

I've also noticed that there is no longer an "approve" mode now. I used to use that for pools and sequential images. I'd review all the images first and then just approve them rapidly using the approve mode afterwards. Not having this mode anymore is kind of disappointing.

Lastly, if it is possible, it would be kind of nice for the mod queue (if you're going to retain pagination) if there was perhaps an option to make it so when you hide/approve an image in the mod queue on a page that it would automatically load up a next image in the queue to fill the slot up on the page.

So it's no longer possible to view the list of comments you've posted on pictures over the years?

Yeah, I used that the exact same way.

Something strange that I'm not sure was documented: when I tried to get to vladtet's favourites, it brought up mine instead.

Also, I'm wondering which level of favourites the various non-donating statuses get, if any.
