Planning on where to go that evening was a huge clusterf***. It's like A: Pick one and just do that or B: Go to a little bit of each of the things you wanted to do and miss a good chunk of each, as there was even more going on then just the concerts and the panel. Of course option C prevailed, leave to get stuff, come back to the convention later than planned and simply crash at the Touhou panel. I'm sure he'll write about the thing we all shouted at him during the panel, that was really really cool, can't give Kilga and crew enough props for that.
I'm ashamed to say I had to look up both singers, as I'd not heard of them. Sure enough, I've heard of a number of the works in which they've acted/sung, but not actually seen any. I am behind the times...
Anyway...
Thanks for all your hard work at Reitaisai, everyone! I was really happy that so many people came by my booth space. I also got such an enormous amount of refreshments that I've been wondering if my meals will all be candy for a while. Thank you very much.
By the way, I'm very grateful for the provisions, but seriously, knock it off with the sweet buns! :-) Their expiration dates come too soon, and at worst, I can't eat them all and end up throwing them out.... I don't want to throw out gifts I've received, so I'm counting on you. (^^;)
This time around, I somehow managed to eat them all while on site.
Reader-added tags include "Just a little more effort, Kogasa-san", "For that face, I'll allow it Σb", "El Psy Congroo" (a nonsense phrase that Steins;Gate progatonist Okabe Rintaro apparently grumbles when his cell phone won't connect to anywhere), "You're crossing the world line, Kogasa-san" and "The main body is at the concerts...!"
The poll today asks:
So, what will you do, Kogasa-san? • Show up diligently at the Touhou event • Get a sudden stomachache and go to the concerts • Memorize that karaoke song! • Let's ask Komugi-chan • I'll send a D-mail!
Unfortunately at a con, ones does find oneself having to choose between one thing and another. Poor Kogasa-san! There's always next time, right? (I hope there will be a next time.)
We're getting closer to the panel now; can't wait to see how Mizuki-san portrays it.
Missing a Kanako Ito concert? Oh hell no. My heart would have given out in that moment.
