Prediction: if Matt Ward is allowed to continue bastardizing the lore, the Gray Knights will all decide to paint their armour blue in the next Codex, since they, just like every other SM chapter, really just wish they could be Ultramarines instead.

Basically, Matt Ward slaughtered several Warhammer 40,000 books by changing the races. Most often for the worst. For examples, the Space Marines were basically all badasses. When Matt remade their rules, he decided that only Ultramarines were badasses and that the rest were copycats. In one of his books, a bunch of Sisters of Battles also got butchered for no good reasons, and that shocked many players.
Another examples are the Necrons. Before, they were all slaves to the C'tans (Goauld-like gods, to be short). Now, the C'tans are the slaves and the necrons are like squeletons kings in space.
Don't forget the part there Necrons and Blood Angels teamed up to fight the Tyranids. Or how ALL the illustrations (not counting the coloured photos of painted models, but the actual drawings) and special characters in the latest Space Marine book are Ultramarines. Because as Ward has taught us, ALL other space marines only wish they could be as cool as the Ultramarines.
There's also this whole incident, which has led people to suspect that Matt has really, really serious issues with women. http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Khornate_Knights
