(1) Everyone is chatting about how they enjoyed the tour. (2) Sanae: "So, are you thinking about using this firm for the summer Comiket?" (3) Kogasa: "Well, it's really too far to go just for printing..." Or some other excuse. Cue panda standing behind them staring at Kogasa. (4) "Just you know why..." (Panda has the umbrella over his knee...)
You know, I've been wondering for a bit. I more or less write for a pop culture site, and I've been thinking if it would be interesting if I'd write an article/review about this series; and perhaps a bit of Touhou as well. On the other hand, I have no idea on how to go about it, like if I should post bits of this webcomic along with the article, that kind of stuff.
Even if it's printed in 3 minutes, you still need to recut the papers, fold them, insert them, and staple them together. Add to this the fact that stressed employee are more likely to cause trouble and make mistakes, and you'll understand why you can never delay a deadline.

Yeah, and aside from that, someone has to check if the quality of the print is okay. Lots of work to be done when it comes to printing more or less -- family business is a printing press, so I have an idea of how hectic things are.
Be careful: The preparations before printing take a whole lot more time than the printing itself, so just seeing this and thinking, "They can print in a short time!" would be overly hasty. :-) Still, we were impressed with how lickety-split they rolled off the presses!
Reader-added tags include "It's okay to cry, Nakapanda-san", "Youkai who only think of breaking deadlines", and "Grown-ups' field trips are really scary".
The survey's being cost-conscious:
What's your budget for the next Reitaisai? • ¥1000 • ¥5000 • ¥10,000 • ¥20,000 • MORE!
If chen is implied to be an artist, what about yukari (I doubt that its Ran's significant other) and for that matter yuyuko? I'm still wondering about that. also what do they go by?
for the poll we must buy ALL the expensive things! figurines, doujins, and artworks galore! so maybe ¥20,000 or more, if you have too much money nothing is really lost.

Have someone hard translated some lolworthy special trips, then lead by talk a bit about the series, then start giving people a rough general idea of Touhou, leaving enough stuffs to spark the people interest (mentioning things like biggest fandom in japan, most influential series, most doujin works of all time, etc.), then go back and talk in close detail about this series again, and why is it in close relation to Touhou and stuff, and what happened in the series usually (by including the aforementioned hard translated 4koma strips)
They print so fast, it's almost like magic. Too bad there's more to it than printing. Don't make the panda cry, girls. He just wants to show everyone how things are printed. Hang in there, Nakapanda-san, you can handle it.
For the poll, more money, because then more things can be bought!

Plus, if they're only running the press for three minutes on your behalf, they need around a hundred fifty other customers every day to justify staying at work for eight hours. Everybody can't print the day before the con.

I would think that asking Mizuki-sensei would be one of the more sensible courses of action. That being said, I'm not sure how frequently Mizuki-sensei visits this site, but I do remember seeing that he had an account here, so you could try to contact him through danbooru.
Just so to speak as a past worker from a printing company, all of you say is correct. There are some instances where the bindings are a problem and they alone can take two days for a set of two hundred. Also, the word 'Deadline' puts more pressure to us than a steamroller.
Anyway, if I am going into Reitaisai, 20,000¥ is enough just for my airline ticket, so it is five to ten times that amount. If I make time that is.

I've been considering that. Heck, I'm also considering contacting Kenkou Cross over Twitter with regards to asking him as well if it'd be cool if I wrote an article-review of the Monster Girl encyclopedia. At the same time, I've thought of doing it first, as it's more or less just a review/article and I get no monetary gain from this.
Asking first would be more polite, of course, but not quite a necessity. It would be more important to ask first if I plan of using images... Maybe I could contact him via Pixiv? Of course, it'd be hard since I don't speak or write Japanese...
