Just noticed Black and White Kyurem didn't have their own tags either, so the Megas might work fine with just alternate_form and mega_pokemon tags, I guess
For the record, the mega-forms aren't everlasting evolutions. If I'm reading Serebii correctly, they're temporary amplified states--they revert back to basal after the battle is finished.

Given the changes, its more like they can digivolve to an improved apex form. Terminology calling that form a "mega" level is even the same, in English/dub anyway.

FYI the Japanese version also use Mega as the word, メガシンカ(Megashinka, Mega Evolution) to be exact, as in Megashinka Pokemon as opposed to just Mega Pokemon

Japanese Pokemon, yeah. Digimon, IIRC, uses "Ultimate" in the Japanese for what the english version calls Mega.
