It appears to be a maze (note the map on the wall in the last panel) and they get a stamp for finding people in it. I'm curious...do they have these in Japan? I live in the USA and I've heard some crop fields are used for mazes during Autumn harvest time though I've never been to one. Now I want to even more!

We have a wooden version of one of these in the Fort Worth Stockyards of Texas.
They're not actually functional stockyards anymore, but more of a historical museum / walk-in mall. A reminder of the city's roots and a place to eat and have fun.
There's also a mechanical bull, which you ride as long as you can before getting thrown off (onto the padded surroundings and floor).

I remember going to one back in October '02 when I was still in Oregon... Wow. That takes me back. Fun times.
