Eirin's age is supposed to be something like 10,000+ years at very least. The shinto pantheon is like 3,000 years old if you're being very generous. So it makes more sense if you imagine that Eirin is the origin of Omoikane, and not the inverse.
No she is not stop god-modding the characters. Her name came from that god and even her having knowledge and all go with that god's power but that doesn't mean she is that god bc she isn't. 10.000 ? last time i check it was 1300 or something at least that many will be at the very best maybe. Takamimusuhi is the god before the one Eirin is based off. Also i am pretty sure the pantheon is a little older then that if we go by myths alone but how knows. This is the typical Touhou fandome god-modding bs. I have talked on an older post about Eirin and her age and all i don't want to talk about it again.
Stop this bullshit at once. ZUN said that she's a god, and your only argument about this is "lololol ZUN is always drunk and he doesn't know what he says". And this is just retard. In CiLR, Toyohime says that she's older than Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto. This means that however old he is, Eirin is older. Eirin herself claims to be an eternal being and that Remilia's age (500) divided by her own age would be equal to ZERO.
1300 years is a number you came out with from nothing. You don't want to believe Eirin as a time-abyss god? Fine, but don't mislead people spreading false informations.
such anger in the commentary page for such a purehearted comic....
He..hello Ei-chan...Ei-chan!?
This is also a nickname of Eikichi Yazawa, who is a popular musician in Japan.A few days later.TowelKyaaaaa!Anyway, would you stop calling me Yagokoro-sama?Ei-chan!?Aha!It's okay, I'm just a pharmacist here now,B...but...I'd like you to have this if you want...!Eh!?Excuse me, Yagokoro-sama...C.. call her pompously...
Pompously means "great."
hmm, call her just "Eirin"?I don't care about that...She was a fan of him when she lived outside Gensokyo.Shaba-daba!
Yazawa's nonsensical phrase from this TV commercial (Coca-Colas POWERADE, 2008)
so you should treat me pompously, as a god.No, it's too familiar...
It's rather like a nickname...I apologize, the other day I came here drunk without greeting you properly... I am ashamed of myself...
