I made a quick translation of the manual. However, please note that the sword and laser don't actually work. Left-click is a lie.

- Game explanation - (1/7)
It was a day of spring-cleaning at the Red Demon Mansion. Imouto-sama said she wanted to try and help. While everyone quivered in fear, Remilia-sama gave her permission after setting some rules: "Breaking things using your powers is forbidden", and "Using spells and the like is forbidden."
But that was naive of her...
Protagonist: Imouto-sama Objective: Helping with the general cleaning of the Red Demon Mansion - cleaning up the garbage Method: Destroy without leaving any traces. Enemy: The library's resident automatic interception system
- Controls - (2/7)
Imouto-sama moves and shoots towards the mouse cursor. Let's move inside the room, and clean up... attack and destroy the garbage. To attack, use the Z key (shot) or the left mouse button (laser or sword).
When you attack, the bullets or the magic power decrease, but both recharge gradually.
The enemies have a magic circle at their back. The garbage you must destroy has a red outline.
- How to attack - (3/7)
Z key: Shot. The number of bullets is limited, but it recovers in a short time. With the shot key, you shoot a sort of low-power generic bullet in the direction you're facing.
Left click: Laser. A laser that aims at the cursor. It's a laser, so note the pinpoint attack. It has a high power, but consumes magic. Starbow, no-break flavour.
Left click: Sword. Sort of like a toned down Lævateinn. If you aim too close with the laser, you swing this instead. It doesn't consume anything, but the library's furnishings can get caught in...
- How to get attacked - (4/7)
The library's resident automatic interception system detects that "a youkai intruder is assaulting the library" and seriously tries to eliminate imouto-sama. Naturally, a vampire can take a lot of punishment before being defeated; that limit is displayed in the top left part of the game screen.
When you're shot, the shield gets damaged first... but it regenerates little by little.
When the shield is depleted, it gets in "break" status, but it will still regenerate after a set time.
If you get shot when you are in "break", your life decreases.
Your life does not regenerate, so you lose if it runs out.
To put it simply, think of it as an out guard like in Immaterial and Missing Power.
- How to get attacked well - (5/7)
Roll and graze
If you press the X key, you spin once while consuming some magic, and for a short time you are in an invincible state where you graze all bullets.
If you think you're in danger, please roll right away! Your opponents are rather seriously trying to kill you!
Also, when you "spin out of control and run up a one-way street" while rolling, you can press the shift key to straighten up intentionally.
This just fixes your direction of movement, so you don't get invincibility or other benefits.
- The battlefield is the library - (6/7)
The bookshelves and furniture placed here and there are neither enemies nor trash.
However, if they get entangled into your sword attack, they get damaged, and eventually get destroyed.
Even if they are destroyed, you just get a lower stage clear bonus, but, also for the sake of Patchouli-san's health, please avoid damaging them as much as possible. Passively.
But items also appear in the wreckage, so it can't be helped if you actively destroy them.

- Strategy advice - (7/7)
If you remain still, you are sure to die. Please move.
If you just fly straight, the enemies will predict your trajectory when shooting, and you'll die easily.
If you move randomly, you'll be able to dodge unexpectedly well.
The automatic interception system designed by Patchouli does a good job in close combat. If the enemies manage to stick to you, you'll be a colander before you know it. Please flee quickly, or slash them up.
If you feel surrounded, please roll. And then, please escape.
At first, pay no attention to the damage caused to the library.
If you kill too many small-fry books, a middle boss will burst out, so don't overdo it.
I got the sword and laser to work. When your mouse pointer is in the game window, a little bullseye thing appears. If you left-click while the bullseye is inside Flan's purple circle, then she'll do a slash attack in the direction of the bullseye. If you left-click while the bullseye is outside of Flan's purple circle, then she'll fire a laser in the direction of the bullseye. It's easiest to hit by putting the bullseye over the enemy and then clicking.
And here I went intentionally smashing everything I could. My button worked fine but swording and shooting, so I dunno what's wrong with you two's buttons.
Yeaaaah, you guys need new mice, 'cause left-click worked wonders for me. On that note, "rolling" actually hindered my game. I was better off just dodging the bullets.
