This is exactly why I set an alarm any time I nap now. I have a terrible tendency to fall asleep for at 3 or so hours when I meant to nap for 30 minutes.
Just to put a spin on this lovely scene... Everyone who falls asleep to the scent of the sun on fresh laundry is basically doing this: "Sniff...aaaaaah, Amaterasu-sama....sniff sniff..."
This is why I can never take naps even if I am tired. I don't know how people do it. It messes up my sleep so much.
The bad about taking naps constantly is that your body eventually adapt to that pattern and pretty soon you have to take naps at specific times, especially when it's hot.
Sleeping too much also screws you over since if you oversleep you lose energy and will still be tired later on.
