沱江, Tuojiang (Tuo River) was one of the PC-461 class submarine chasers that served in the war. This ship was transferred to ROCN by 1948, and she went into action over the naval battles off of the island of Kinmen, only separated by less than 2km/1mile of water from PRC held Fujian province.
She would be scrapped after having been towed to the island of Penghu.
PRC does claim the disabling kill on this vessel, while ROC claimed that PRC lost 8 PT boats and 2 larger corvettes in the action.
No way...The tattered "Tuojiang" is being towed by her sister ship, "Liujiang"...to you...Tuojiang-nee, are you alright?Kinmen Sea. Sorry... Liujiang...The drainage pump onboard has also been broken, ship's hull is starting to sink...I can't...
Feel any power from the engine anymore...I'll leave the surviving crew...The flooding is severe.
