Saratoga: Hell no, get away from me! *hides behind Iowa*
USN almost got a few CCs, heh. Never got to use that hull classification code.

If they ever implement Sister Sara in Kancolle, I predict her going ballistic each time a Japanese ship calls her "Sara Maru".
(A mean nickname she earned from her crew for 'malingering' all the time, as in "which side are you on?")
Speaking of which, would Kancolle ever implement any Essex-class carriers? That... would cause some problems here and there. For example, when you "remodel" CV-5 it suddenly transforms into CV-10. Warship Girls has carefully avoided running into this problem, but who knows how long that will last.

It's not only CVs. The general response during the war to losing a ship was "build another one". Every single cruiser besides Indianapolis (which sank at the very end) was replaced along with the majority of lost DDs, most in time to see some war service. A few submarines lost early on were also replaced within the span of the war.
Then you get into some really weird cases like for instance USS Menges had a third of the stern blown, but was towed back. Another of the class USS Holder had been torpedoed forward and badly damaged forward... so they just took the good half of each to make one ship! Or Downes and Cassin, destroyers at Pearl Harbor that were so wrecked that the hulls were beyond repair, so they salvaged the machinery and some other equipment which was intact and shipped it back to be installed into two new hulls built from scratch (because fuck Japan and common sense, we're going to build two basically new obsolete 1930s era destroyers).
I read Ryuujou's line in a Scottish accent. I don't know why.
It's my first time on the front lines, but I'm relieved that I have companions here.My debut battle in Japan! I'll give it my all!A few days later - Salmon Sea AreaAs expected of you! You have Haruna's respect! It's mah first time being flagship, so have s'more tension ya'll!!Y-yes!!Let's make plenty of bloodshed! An' why th' bloody hell does everyone aroun' me have large tits!? Are ye tryin' ta piss me off!?Don't be lettin' yer guard down now.I-I really don't think that has anything to do with this...!!Tis' the battlefield, y'know? We're the 2nd fleet in our test formation, so some score would surely be nice!Y'all, keep it tight!Tis might be a pursuit operation ta reinforce our capabilities, but we ain't gettin' any real-time instructions from the Admiral.I heard that if we pull this off, we'll be operating independently of the 1st fleet from then.
