@SteelSniper Artists do not upload their own work here. In fact, that is a sure fire way for it to fail to be approved. Furthermore, 99 times out of 100, you will not find the artist on this site. If you wish to communicate with the artist, please follow the source links. It's pretty much the only way they'll see in your comment in all likelihood.

Hey, new to this box, is there a particular reason that artists don't post their own work here? Just curious, I really do not have the artistic talent to do anything worthy of here.
@sublimeslimetime Because that's not the site's function. People submit art they like, and then it goes through the moderation queue. If the moderators approve of the art, it is accepted into the site. If not, it is deleted. If someone posts there own art here, it will not get approved- that's a violation of the rules surrounding uploads.
The best way to think of this site is as a repository for art from various different sources which is curated. It's not like Pixiv or Deviant Art.
