Even if it's rather underpowered, what with it lugging around all that weight on a tiny sub-150cc engine, it's surprisingly good as a compact source of firepower. Kinda like an archaic form of personal gun rigging...
Although to be fair, wasn't that recoilless rifle's weight decent enough if the AT team needs to shoulder the damn thing for a peekaboo shot rather than taking all that time to set up?
One of France's early attempts at making the Vespa cooler than it actually was.

I've heard of having a cannon between your legs but maybe this is taking it too far.

Don't be ridiculous. It was designed to be removed and mounted to a M1917 tripod to fire, but it could fire in-frame, and indeed, on the move; it just wasn't intended to be used that way primarily, i.e. it wasn't a Vespa minitank. They would give the local stuff a good showing, wouldn't they?It has a rather low cost, with both mobility and firepower in spades...I forgot that England is a mecca of rare weaponry...What.Mon Dieu, this will give her quite the laugh...It was used by the French paratroopers in the post-war period.
Troupes aéroportées, hence TAPIt's an Italian scooter with an American recoilless rifle equipped to it.They've got prototypes all the way to modern day tanks.Ahh...
The Vespa 150 TAP...Richelieu, what is that!?This is actually in a different room to the ARL44, the Hall of Curiosities. This is... yet another French tank zone, yes?Can this fire on the move? That's a bloody good idea...Pffft!What a weird weapon!
