Yeah, if you read the tagging rules, it encourages tagging primarily of the most notable things in the image first, and not to bother with something minor like barely being able to see another character's hat in the middle of a faceless crowd in the background, but taggers tend to focus upon the tags they know for obvious reasons, so will always tag characters. It results in annoyances like this where you're looking for a particular character, and they're actually just a few strands of hair in the side of a picture obviously about someone else.

Pretty sure we could resolve this issue by introducing tag weight, where the main focus has the highest value. That would cause a whole slew of other issues though, while also being a nightmare to update.

I agree. I know the guy that commissions these said he wanted to add those things in everything he gets so they'd know it was him. It definitely works. Negatively for me, sure, but it works.
