So it seems she's a "ushi-oni", meaning "cow-oni". Yuugi and Suika have a new drinking buddy.
Unfortunately, the 'oni' part is used as literal translation of 'demon' in this case, like "cow-demon" instead of cow-oni. So she isn't really an oni. :(
Very interesting design, even if it's mostly due to the horns and hair colors. Looking back at past 2nd bosses, some of them really make a good first impression for the rest of the boss lineup. I wonder if that's intentional on Zun's part.
Took us long enough to get an ushi-oni girl. That's really sweet since it's among the more interesting (and feared) youkai. I'd say it fits well into this game for having a monstrous, beastlike appearance. Either way, it also took us long to get a tanuki (one of the most obvious youkai), so yeah, better late than never. Another well known monster that's still missing is the kamaitachi, but I'm sure we will get one eventually.
How about a mukade? Just to complete the "weakest creature" part of the title.
There is a physically weaker creature that's present throughout Japanese mythology, and it's also a very wily beast. It also happens to be present in Greek mythology as well, as a creature which walks on four legs, then two, then three.
I'm talking, of course, about humans. That's my guess as to the species of 17's final boss.
Admittedly, it's a bit of a wild guess, but Zun has done some pretty wild things in previous games (like giving Prince Shotoku the Fate treatment a few years before Grand Order became a thing).

Actual ordinary male human? Bonus points if Rinnosuke is involved.

Motherf...
Ya know, this would be hella predictable and unimpressive for me if it's Kemono Friends, but if Touhou did it? I'm already getting chills.
