There should also be a few dozen multicolored herbs, some eggs sticking out here and there, not to mention several million rounds of ammunition hanging from every extremity.

They're in the pockets. What you don't see are the numerous keys and treasures. Things like a sceptre, bangles, rings, stones...
Nice lol your forgetting leons walkie talkie, his binoculars, all the bottle caps you get from the shooting range, all the documents you find, his 1st aid sprays, and that bitch ashley. Nude ashley cheat for the person who beats saddler with a fish.
No, I also do not hate Ashley. She was smart enough to realize that when I was pulling out a gun, the safest place to be was BEHIND ME or at the very least she knew how to duck.
I love Ashley. As a game feature, of course. Speaking of this 'defending a friend' thing, RE4 is the best game ever. All the other opponents in all the other games in the world suck. How I love the way she ducks so you chould shoot over her head, hides behind your back or inside a dumpster, runs to your whistle, screams only when she is actually in danger... Perfect.
But they spoilt everything in RE5. This fucking coop which you're forced to play even in offline... How many times I wanted to kill Sheva, how much I hate her, it's indescribable...
..Yeah, Leon was using a briefcase. You know, inside his multidimensional hip pocket. Classical 'Serious Sam Jeans' model.
This idea is just splendid. I just laughed my ass off. xD By the way: Ashley was annoying in some ways, when I played the game first time. But now, after I played through the game uncountable times, I like her pretty much. It's scenes like her first 'conversation' with Louis that are just so awesome. (One word: 'Ballistics') ^^
@jekyllgrim I liked Sheva too, because she was the first RE-Character that was really helpful in various situations. Besides... I'd loved to play a Resident Evil part in coop. but there was no possibility. Now it's like some kind of 'wish' was granted. ^^ Playing RE actually together with a friend is something that's a lot of fun.
It always annoyed me that I couldn't use the binoculars when I needed to look for traps or scout out an area, since they only magically materialized during cut-scenes.
