OK, can someone help me understand this? Did the artist leave any notes on what the situation is here? Because all I see is pissed Mokou, and she's talking about what I'm guessing is some sort of betrayal with Kaguya, but who'd be stupid to try to two-time two enemies? Wait, there would be someone that stupid, wouldn't there. But still, does anyone have the artist's comments?
I like to think of it as if the viewer was the one who was shocked and embarrassed by Mokou's confession:
"Huh? A regular person like me? G..geez! I'm not even sure what to say!"
Something like that. Our indecision and poor attempt at tsundere prompted Mokou's hot blooded response; which means all we can do is run like frightened schoolgirls and hope that Keine comes and saves us before we're torched.
Unless she's already sided with Mokou. It looks like it's getting dark, and I think there might be a full moon tonight..
Artist's comments: If love is strong, then any crack that arises will be equally so. Then there is the profound sadness and anger of being betrayed by the person you trusted the most. However much you love and trust someone, in the end they are merely excessive illusions. -As always, sorry for the ⑨-like intro. m(_ _)m I never learn, so let's just go on- In love, there is a big trap. The "It's alright if it's this person" "I will support them/They will support me". The excessive illusions of mutual love... It all starts trivially. When you interrupted Kaguya and Mokou's usual quarreling in favor of Kaguya. It hurt Mokou's feelings more than expected, who took it as an act of betrayal...
Excessive illusions? For whom? You could think to commit yourself entirely to someone, but you never know you're ready to go that extra mile for them, when you'll be able to resist temptation. "Betrayal" may not have been decided at the outset. In fact, it may very well have been the opposite, but people are weak. And stupid. Even if you're strong and righteous 99% of the time, a moment of weakness can shatter your faith even in yourself.
They aren't illusions. To say they are illusions is the same as saying that hatred and mistrust are illusions as well. A fierce, bloody rivalry? A sense of betrayal? How are those not an illusion as well?
Love, faith, and trust, they're all real and worthwhile. Suffering a misunderstanding in regards to a person's ability to be understood even in regards to themselves, that doesn't mean you should regard them as false and unattainable. It's during those misunderstandings that you need them the most.
Anyway, sounds like typical Japanese nilhisism. Creative people and their bullshit, what's up with that?

I like to say that a lot of people on the internet and/or artist types tend to get utterly cynical and disguise it with philosophy and science, because they tend to be more losery and thus get hurt romantically.

Yeah, it sounds like the artist got rejected or something.

Actually, 3rd degree burns can burn so badly that they sear the nerves and makes it painless. That's why so many 3rd degree burn victims usually screw themselves over even more because they think they're alright and do something stupid.
You're going to side with the likes of HER, rather than me...?You don't like me, right?...then do whatever you wantYou've got nothing else to say to me, right!?Then just buzz off! I don't care where you go!!!
