I dunno if this question was asked before, but when will we go back to the "200 Yojana" part? Cause this seems to have taken quite the detour from calculating the speed of that certain spellcard.

probaly the last few strips we will get ot that part
Incidentally, this update does seem to confirm at least one thing - Myon was indeed rescued along with Youmu. So what she's been suffering from is her usual crisis of confidence, possibly amplified by the humiliating and painful defeat at Nose's hands.
Looks like one of the mice is trying to talk her down from that ledge, though. Can't wait for the translators to come by.
I guess the author think that to master the "200 Yojana in One Slash", Youmu must have a swordman skill as good as Youki, or at least nearly as good.
Perhaps these detours are the way the author is trying to 'train and develop' Youmu by giving hardship and stuffs which the experience gained would level her up.

Or, as anyone who has written an English paper can tell you, going off on tangents to make it longer can be quite fun. Just think of this as a tangent.

Since this is the training arc of sort, I'll assume it will be the great sports next, which will mean bloomers, bloomers and more bloomers...
But for now, Youmu needs to shape herself up. Heck, I won't even dismiss the thought of her giving herself a slash from Hakurouken.
Idle pondering, but instead of the mouse calling Youmu an amateur, how about we translate it as half-wit? Doesn't mean exactly the same, but it keeps the pun more in line.
I know I'm a little late to this party, but could the word "amateur" be replaced with "half-ass" to try and maintain the pun?
Just winning a battle isn't enough!Wah, wah!You can use Hakurouken, right? I heard it can cut one's hesitation.Focus your damn attention on me, you amateur*!* - The usual double pun. 半人前 (Half a human) can mean someone who is an amateur, but also refer to Youmu being a half human half spirit hereIf you have, listen up!Nazrin's StrategyDamn...Oi, I say. Oi!!If you and your opponent's mutual awareness doesn't change, it's meaningless!Kya!?What's with that?! I've been here for a while now!Huh? Where have you been?Oi.You're included in Nazrin's strategy! We'll be in trouble if you're unavailable!!Then, I want you to cut their leader!
