Comment: It's sort of tough to say that they're really Touhou characters, though. I think I'll post the correct answer on the 27th around midnight. You'll probably get mad at me, though.

At least Momiji was given a name and profile.
That's what I thought. Maybe they'd be the kind of humans you'd see in everyday life without all the craziness.

Just so you know, while Koakuma's name is made official, Daiyousei's name still isn't considered official.

ZUN's only comment that "the greater fairy(大妖精) that appeared in Fairy Wars is the same greater fairy in Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil. It's most likely that Daiyousei is the fairy's classification.
Did ZUN say the lessor demon's name was indeed Koakuma, though? I thought he said it was also the classification.

ZUN never said Koakuma's name was "Koakuma". He simply used the name since he was asked about her in an interview/questionaire. Koakuma and Daiyousei are both still un-named and unofficial characters.

Koakuma is considered her official name due to ZUN specifically using that term/name to refer to her. Daiyousei, on the other hand, isn't; ZUN used that term/name to describe Greater Fairies and not the actual character.
