It's very odd seeing officer ranks being put as shoulder patches. I wonder if the artist doesn't know or if it was intentional. Also, Marine officer uniforms do not have any red piping.

I don't know much about USMC uniforms. But isn't the one with the red pipings worn on special occasions? It is undoubtedly a USMC uniform though...
I am from the U.S and I can tell you that a Marine Officer uniform is black and white with the usual trimmings. That is a marine uniform though but only enlisted has their ranks on the sleeves officers have their rank on their neck cuff. But all in all some good drawings
