And I think this was what everyone was thinking 2 strips ago, Sanae thinking the Geyser was exactly as Kogasa. I think this is one of the few drawbacks of having Sanae as a wife.
Mizuki-san's Pixiv description says he'd watched a recorded show about a geyser overseas that was much bigger, so when this one didn't even last 10 seconds, the difference was that much stronger. He also claims (in Kogasa's voice) that he's too young to understand what Sanae means. :-)

Old Faithful, making your geyser look like a wimp since 1870.

To cut it short, he's saying japanese ones are much smaller and don't last to boot. So much innuendo. lol
Also, Kogasa herself probably didn't count as a person until she became a tsukogami - I mean, yes, the raw materials to become a youkai was there, but considering the fact that the molecules and atoms that constitute you were around long before you were born doesn't make you 10,000,000+ years old I'd hesitate to say the same about Kogasa.

Old Faithful isn't actually that impressive, to be honest. When I was in Yellowstone I found Grand Geyser and Castle Geyser to be much more entertaining, and there are some that go off very rarely that are said to be even more spectacular.
The only real reason Old Faithful is notable at all is its (relative) regularity.

You're killing cat girls, guys. Mizuki's Kogasa-avatar is presumably his age or younger, maybe even as young as she actually looks. Regardless, it's irrelevant to the joke.
If Sanaewife's been reading ero-doujinshi, it's possible that she might have unrealistic expectations for... That.
