Okay, I'm not sure, but I think you want me to tell you what happened at the end of the show. vvvvvvv HERE GOES MEGA SPOILERS!! ^^^^^^^ Madoka made a wish to become a god, and rewrite the rules of the magical girls, they are now no longer destined to become witches. And Kyubey has no idea of what he did in the past, he still makes contracts and collects grief, but the Magical Girls he contracts, no longer become witches themselves. So he isn't causing anymore suffering.

I don't see why...
it's not like Kyubey had any sort of epiphany or remorse, so he's just the same as before, only in circumstances which lead him to less evil courses of action. Given the opportunity and situation, he's just as likely to do something pretty atrocious.
As Urobochi said at the end "Kyubey is still Kyubey". And he is right.
In his conversation with Homura he essentially said "Making little girls suffer and become witches seems like an awesome way to get anti-entropy energy! Too bad it's impossible." He doesn't even remember what crimes he did before.
It's part of why I think the end is brilliant. Kyubey can't be killed or stopped. But with Madoka rewriting the system and history he is entirely dependent on them giving him energy now. Kyubey can't afford to get them killed anymore. He's still the same dick, but now he has no justification to be a dick.
