Her name is etched into the side of that dresser, rather low. That could imply that she did that as a child, that she's lived in that house her entire life. As someone who has lived their entire life in one house, I understand how connected to it she must feel. ;_;

I think it's more like, after the goddesses seeing her cry, like any loving parent would, they'd offer her to stay behind. Sanae, realizing she loved them more, willingly moved with them, and thus is able to start a newly determined life which drove her to threaten the local shrine maiden to prove her value in the new place she calls home.
The building looks a lot like a classic Japanese student boarding house. I would know, I live in one. Well till the end of the month anyway... I graduated.
