I really wanted a soul gem of my very own so I wished for one when I made my contract.
I can't shake the feeling that I wasted a wish.
Pouring the hardener. Since it's hard to measure 1 g. on a scales, it's always fine to calculate it roughly. Warm up the hardener with a dryer, 1 g. is about 30 drops.
...for some reason, I use up the hardener quite fast, hahaha...
For those who really got into this, I suggest to buy a more expensive scales to measure more precisely. The proportion for the sylicon and the hardener is: 100 parts of sylicon, 1 of hardener, so this time it's 100 g. of sylicon and 1 g. of hardener.Resin part's preparation.Make the mould for this part.Put the container on the scales, then press the tare button to start this operation.
(to make this step easy, I recommend to use a digital scales)1) a container to blend the sylicon
2) a spatula to mix the sylicon
3) a container which will contain the mould (one of those small tasting cups)
4) oil clay
5) model (the stone)
6) digital scalesFirst of all, set items 3 to 5 like this.
The base of oil clay will become the sylicon mould's top, so make it as smooth as you can. The chances to get pissed off later will noticeably decrease.About the item you're going to use as model (glass, various kind of stones), it may happen that the sylicon you've stick it in won't come off. In order to prevent this from happening, this time I've covered the stone with lacquer.
(if your model is made of resin, you can jump this part)LacquerDilutedThis is the sylicon I'm using this time.
