Edit
Lead Gundam of Gundam Hathaway's Flash.
Developed from the Penelope, the RX-105 Xi Gundam features a Minovsky Craft unit similar to its predecessor, but integrates it into its main frame, resulting in a sleeker design and lighter mass. However, the Xi Gundam doesn't transform but deploys a Beam Barrier by flipping its chest armor up. The Beam Barrier is a device that creates a conical barrier in front of the Xi Gundam as it flies through the air, making it more aerodynamic and allowing it to achieve supersonic speeds in flight exceeding Mach 2. These minor changes give the Xi Gundam an edge against Penelope in terms of performance.
Its armaments are similar to the Penelope, but it has a larger shield without the built-in particle cannon that provided the Penelope better protection.
Its signature weapons are the Funnel Missiles. True to its name, these funnels functions like remote controlled missiles, guided by the pilot's Newtype abilities and exploding upon impact. These weapons are also equipped on the Penelope.
It is piloted by Mufti Nabiyu Erin, a.k.a. Hathaway Noa. Designed in real life by Moriki Yasuhiro for the novel; the design was later updated by Fujita Kazumi for the SD Gundam G-Generation series; this updated design has been used in most video games where the Xi Gundam is featured, such as Gundam Extreme Vs. and Super Robot Wars.
