Sonic the Hedgehog CD (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグCD, abbreviated simply as Sonic CD) is a 1993 video game, developed by Sega for the Sega CD. Developed by the team behind the original Sonic the Hedgehog, it is the third installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog Series, along with Touei Douga, who helped make the intro. Known for having two distinct soundtracks, one released in Japan and Europe, the other being released in North America.
