Both Nihonjo and Google Translate gave me "SaegusaKyoto" and I had a gut feeling it wasn't right. Plus the page you linked is gibberish on my screen so I wouldn't have known. Thanks for the help.

A lot of Japanese webpages have a bad habit of not specifying an encoding. It's usually Shift-JIS.

If you use Firefox: View -> Character Encoding -> Auto-Detect -> Japanese. Once you've done that all Japanese pages with screwed up encodings should render correctly.
