I did it a lot when I was a kid. Not in a typhoon tho, but in a small-stormy weather, where you can run following the direction of the buggin' strong wind splashing your whole body. It's quite fun, you know. Although sometimes you will hit something in front of you when running, like, lets just say, a post lamp, right in the face. XD

But yeah, kids, dont try that at home.
Damn, bro. So hardcore. Ever run into a fire hydrant along the way?
As for the fairies, I guess they really don't have any self-preservation instincts...

Since PH is literally the Typhoon Capital of Asia Pacific, I usually ran during the typhoon. Felt really nice to own the fury of the storm alone... unless there are no flying galvasteel roofs.
Fairies though, they're too chibi to not be moved by the strong wind and this is their "hobby"?

~Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha' gonna do?~ ~Whatcha' gonna do when we come for ya'?~
Actual typhoon winds themselves aren't actually that bad, they're nice to wade in if you're in a good area that doesn't have many objects capable of flying around, say a rice field.
Once the steel roofing comes flying though, it's time to take cover.

oh man... high five... I love doing that every time... xD
The level of badassery in these comments is near fairy level.
That and running in a typhoon that has thunder and lightning rattling all around frequently instead of the howling wind and machinegun-like raindrops on the roof. Had to take the time to kneel with arms wide open and looking above in the middle of the road when a thunderclap rang out once.
Ah-! The wind is picking up again!!We're home.Wh- Wait!!You're okay!?Good kids and bad kids both, don't try this at home!Somehow, typhoons really make life exciting, you know?Alright, let's go~!!The Earth was blue.I really don't...
