Be the change you want to be! Go out there and start finding pictures that you like! Because unless you're talking to the artist you achieve absolutely nothing.
Because it can have an effect on the canonical back stories.
But that's the fault of lazy, pandering writers, not the artists. If they're making a fanservice-aimed product, they're going to take all the fandom has and introduce it in the product to please their fanbase. It happened to KC Ashigara in the anime, where the writters transformed her from a cool, valiant energetic woman, to a Christmas cake teacher.
I'm sure AK is not going to become that, so you can rest assure.
Because it can have an effect on the canonical back stories. It happened with Akagi and Kaga from Azur Lane and it happened with Yang and Blake from RWBY. The writers just made them couples because apparently the fans just pandered so much to it.
For the record, they didn't prevent players from being able to romance Akagi and/or Kaga, despite what the anime achieved in doing. If you assume the Commander is Always Male, then the sister ships are only bisexual "at worst". You're overestimating fandom influence a tad too much. Every writer is different, and most works are pretty independent with romances, so take it as it is.

First of all, do you have actual proof of that? As far as I'm aware, Yang and Blake demonstrated chemistry from the moment they met.
Akagi and Kaga are sisters, of course they're going to be close. I seriously doubt their incestuous behavior is solely the fault of fans, especially given how lewd AL is in the first place.
Lappland and Texas despise each other so why does that depict them as lovers?
They do not "despise" each other. Lappland is obsessed with Texas and claims Texas is afraid of her. Texas makes efforts to avoid Lappland, but the two are perfectly capable of working together when they need to. Their relationship is a lot more complicated than simple hate or revenge, we don't even know why they're at odds in the first place.
The AK writers seem very intent on telling a very specific story. Don't just assume they're going to rewrite their already established characters to behave completely counter to current behavior just because fans do what they always do and ship some of them.

Lappland is "obsessed" with Texas, because Lappland is obsessed with fighting battles that could cause her death (a strong opponent), with the possibility of the scar on Lappland's eye being from Texas. They're both fairly likely to be from the same group prior to the Arknight story. Lappland calls Texas a coward because Texas potentially left that group and joined Penguin Logistics/won't fight Lappland seriously. Texas is annoyed at Lappland, due to the constant amount of "fight me" or attempting to get her to come back to her "old self". In a trust line with Lappland, she gets overly excited at the idea of fighting Projekt Red and dying at her hands.
So really, Lappland just constantly bothers Texas in wanting a fight, because she sees Texas as a worthy opponent and is excited at the prospect of dying to Texas and calling her a coward, because she doesn't care to fight Lapp.

It's definitely more than that, Lappland talks about her past with Texas as if some major event happened, but she won't say what. There's also some mention of a serial killer that targets Lupos, and they're not talking about the "wolf" hunter Red, so it very well could be Lappland given her destructive tendencies.
Lapplands own profile states that she doesn't actually antagonize Texas at all, and makes no attempts to fight her, seeming to find more joy in the fact that her very presence causes Texas stress. She also makes the effort to befriend other people, especially those Texas associates with, but it generally doesn't work out.
The fact of the matter is, we don't know their past or how they're connected. They're not even from the same country, so we don't have any leads on just how close they were prior to their current relationship. We know they've met, and we can reasonably guess it ended violently, but anything beyond that is speculation because neither are willing to reveal their pasts.

Really? Wow, I totally did not know that! What a find!
Then why the fuck isn't Rinnosuke be swimming in bitches yet?
Why the fuck isn't every single male in otome-esque franchises gay for each other yet?
Why the fuck isn't SilverAsh be bugging you every single waking moment to fuck his sisters yet?
They don't, because that's how the original writer's canon supposed to be. They're gonna write their own story, and fandom be weaving their own headcanon.
Also its hard to miss these kinds of pics and not get a little triggered when I'm just looking up Arknights in general.
I'm very sad that these pictures trigger you. The artists spent hours of effort in making those pictures, mostly moved by their love for the characters. Even if to fulfill their own headcanon fantasies.
I really doubt they desired to trigger you, or anyone else.
But I have to say, they are free to draw what they want, people are free to love their art or hate it. I think you should either filter you search, but better, you should keep this under control, maybe learn to ignore it.
It's a really small factor in the whole game and fandom for it to make you suffer so.
I realize my comment was too long winded. There's not enough character lore to know if they have romantic and/or sexual relationship or not. We don't know all the details yet. They could have some hate sex relationship going on. Who knows, anything is possible and people like to head canon. Especially when the lore is so vague.
Lots of famous comic book couples are "enemies with benefits".
At the end of the day I just think any ship is possible if you get creative with your writing and reasoning.
