Jerome Silberman (known professionally as Gene Wilder) (June 11th, 1933-August 29th, 2016) was an American actor, singer, dancer, and comedian of movies and TV shows. He is most remembered as Willy Wonka from the classic 1971 movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He also made movies with Mel Brooks as well as team with Richard Pryor.
